The museum has many visitors throughout the year. Locals, individual travellers and groups find their way to the museum.

Groups of all sizes are welcome in the museum. Guided tours should be booked in advance. Skilled guides will lead you through the cultural history and nature of Svalbard. Ragnhild Utne / Svalbard Museum

Groups should kindly contact us before their visit. In this way, we may fit your booking in and make the visit as comfortable as possible for the guests.

If there is a need for it we may open outside of ordinary opening hours. Contact us well in advance for information and price.

Guide in the museum
The tour leader of the group is welcome to do guided tours in the museum. For information about the content of the museum, please contact our Head of dissemination.

Guide may also be booked with us
Booking of guide should be done well in advance. Contact us for prices and information. We offer guided tours for both small and larger parties.

Group price
Group price is offered when the group consists of 15 or more fully paying persons. The visit should be prebooked.
