It has become a tradition for us to celebrate International Women’s Day at the museum as part of Solfestuka.
We will serve cake and non-alcoholic sparkling drinks before we dive into the program:

Life in Svalbard in a New Era: Three Women in Conversation about Belonging, Challenges, and Hopes for the Future.
Participants in the conversation are:
Febylin Salaspi (39), from the Philippines, works at Barbara Foto og Ramme AS, has lived in Svalbard for 3 years.
Sally Hovelsø (35), from Denmark, works at Artica, has lived in Svalbard for 14 years.
Joaroslava Skorikova (32), from Russia/Estonia, works as an operations manager and guide, has lived in Svalbard for 8 years.
The conversation will be moderated by Line Nagell Ylvisåker.
Tundradundrene will contribute with choral singing and lead us in community singing.
The event is free of charge and will take place in the museum foyer area, where seating will be provided.
The program will be hosted in English.
