The museum is closing – due to remodeling.

For the first time in over 15 years the museum will remodel the main exhibition. Unfortunately, due to this the museum will close from the 1st of November to the 1st of February 2024. The official reopening will be held in collaboration with the Arctic Chamber Music Festival.

The exhibition will get an entirely new design and a revised content. We will build interactive learning stations. Sections about World War 2 and the cold war will be added. In addition, we will exhibit artifacts never before shown to the public.

To close the museum is regrettable, but necessary. We hope to see many old and new guests when we reopen in February.
