Permanent, temporary and digital exhibitions

Svalbard museum has a permanent exhibition displaying the archipelago's natural and cultural history.

In addition, we are currently displaying a temporary exhibition on the development of local democracy in Longyearbyen. 

Here, you can also read about the museum’s exhibitions in the old settlements on Bjørnøya and Ny-Ålesund. You will also find additional digital exhibitions in DigitaltMuseum, where the museums collections are available to a worldwide audience.
